It has come to our attention that one of our instructors, Matthew Sayer, has indeed embellished his military background experience.
Xtreme Boot Camps is built on integrity and although Matthew did indeed serve in the armed forces, he was never a member of the Parachute Regiment as we were led to believe. We will not tolerate the military being disrespected in this way and Matthew has been subsequently dismissed from the company with immediate effect.
Our future employment checks for instructor personnel will also be reviewed and made even more rigorous.
We wish to apologise unreservedly to the military, our clients and everyone else connected to Xtreme Boot Camps. We can further confirm that our remaining instructor team have been fully vetted in terms of their own personal military credentials. Our ethos of only employing instructors who are serving or ex-military personnel will also continue.
